The 11-99 Foundation is proud of its strong financial health and ongoing accountability and transparency with donors. Each year, we self-report to three charity watchdog and rating organizations: Charity Navigator, Candid/GuideStar, and GreatNonProfits.
In 2023, we received Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating which designates the 11-99 Foundation as an official “Give with Confidence” charity, indicating that our organization is using its donations effectively based on Charity Navigator’s criteria. Charity Navigator is America’s largest and most utilized independent charity evaluator. Charity Navigator analyzes nonprofit performance based on four key indicators, referred to as beacons. Currently, nonprofits can earn scores for the Impact & Results, Accountability & Finance, Culture & Community, and Leadership & Adaptability beacons.
Each year we receive a Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest level of transparency possible. On our Candid-GuideStar profile, we share impact reports, financials, demographic data, and program outcomes. Donors always have access to the information needed to support our work with trust and confidence.
Lastly, we utilize GreatNonProfits to invite annual reviews from beneficiaries, scholarship recipients, CHP families, donors, volunteers, and the people we serve. Hear stories directly from fellow donors, CHP families we’ve assisted, and scholarship recipients who are now doing great things in the world, all thanks to the generosity of our donors. To receive a top-rated status each year, a nonprofit must receive at least 10 reviews higher than 4 stars so we thank all our members and the CHP community who have taken the time to write reviews.
