On December 7, CHP announced the appointment of Robin Johnson as the California Highway Patrol’s Assistant Commissioner, Staff.
CHP’s statement said, “With 26 years of dedicated service, Robin Johnson has consistently broken barriers, notably as the first woman to serve as the Special Representative to the Legislature and as commander of the CHP Academy. Her distinguished career includes roles as a motorcycle officer and the first female Emergency Vehicle Operations Course sergeant at the Academy. Robin Johnson’s leadership and commitment continue to inspire future generations in law enforcement.”
