Thank you for your membership in and support of the 11-99 Foundation. We’re thrilled to share a very exciting opportunity with you this holiday season. Two of your fellow 11-99 members have generously offered to match any contributions that are received by December 20, up to $50,000, from members who have NOT sent a gift in since they first joined the 11-99 Foundation.
Please consider making a year-end gift or upgrading your membership this season. With this match, you have the chance to make an even greater impact in the lives of CHP families!
WHY YOUR GIFTS MATTER
On August 12, CHP Officer Andre Moye, Jr. was shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop near I-215 in Riverside. He was 34 years old and served with the CHP for nearly three years. He leaves behind his wife, parents, sisters, and brothers. The 11-99 Foundation provided immediate financial assistance to his grieving wife, Sara. We could not have done this without the generosity of our lifetime members like you.
At Officer Moye’s memorial service, a family friend shared Sara’s moving words, “I’ll miss his amazing smile, sense of humor, and that contagious laugh of his,” she said. “I wish I could feel his arms wrapped tightly around me one more time.”
Although this husband, son, and brother cannot be there for his family any longer, we can and we will . . . with your help. Please help us honor the memory of Officer Moye and continue assisting CHP families by making a tax-deductible donation or upgrading your membership. Remember, if you give by December 20, your gift will be doubled. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
