Tina Medeiros

After volunteering with the 11-99 Foundation for over 23 years, Tina Medeiros stepped into a new role as our Stewardship Officer in 2021. As a nonuniformed CHP employee for the past 25 years, Tina worked alongside our Northern CA staff, helping to manage our fundraising events as a volunteer, while still overseeing all the administrative staff and operations at the San Jose CHP area office in her continuing role as Office Supervisor II, the highest administrative rank.

After serving eight years in the US Navy military police, Tina started her CHP career as a dispatcher in the Golden Gate Division and then transitioned to administrative staff. She now teaches others as an instructor at the CHP Academy while providing assistance to her captains and lieutenants, as well as managing the San Jose nonuniformed staff.

Tina plays a vital role at the 11-99 Foundation as our day-to-day “face of the Foundation” for our Northern CA members and primary liaison with regional CHP area offices. Tina manages fundraising events held in the region (from San Luis Obispo north), our five Northern CA scholarship ceremonies, Monterey Car Week events, and several other events throughout the year. She works closely with our development team and CEO, cultivating relationships with donors, as well as with our Dir. of Marketing & Communications, helping us continue our assistance to CHP employees where they need it the most.
